Linda Antonsson writes companion histories of George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire, co-writing The World of Ice & Fire with Elio García and later The Rise of the Dragon, a history of the Targaryen dynasty. With García she also founded Westeros.org, one of the earliest fan websites for the series. Her books fill in the history behind Westeros, from the early Targaryen dragonriders to the family's rise to power.
