Liz Moore is an American novelist, screenwriter and producer who teaches English at Temple University, where she directs the MFA program in creative writing. Her novels include Heft, which was longlisted for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, and Long Bright River, later adapted into a Peacock miniseries. Her debut, The Words of Every Song, was inspired by a brief stint as a musician in New York City, and her most recent novel, The God of the Woods, is set around a vanished teenager at an Adirondack summer camp.
