Margaret Killjoy is an American author, musician, and podcast host best known for speculative fiction in the fantasy and folk horror genres, especially the three-book Danielle Cain series. The short story collection We Won't Be Here Tomorrow and Other Stories follows a near-future world strained by climate collapse and political violence, while The Sapling Cage is a science fiction book. Killjoy also performs in black metal, neofolk, and electronica projects, and founded the feminist black metal band Feminazgûl in 2018.
