Margret Rey co-created the Curious George picture books with her husband, H. A. Rey, a German-born American illustrator and author. Her name appears on The Complete Adventures of Curious George and on Curious George Goes to the Hospital, where George is taken to the hospital after a mishap with a jigsaw puzzle piece and comes to understand what doctors and nurses do. The hospital title also carries H. A. Rey's name on its byline, so the two of them share the series.
