Maribeth Boelts

Maribeth Boelts's books are contemporary fiction. A Bike Like Sergio's is a picture book about Ruben, a boy who wants a bike like his friend's but lives in a home where money is tight, and who comes upon cash in a grocery store and has to choose what to do with it. Those Shoes is a coming-of-age story, and Happy Like Soccer is contemporary fiction too.
