Mark Oshiro

Mark Oshiro is an American author, editor, and activist based in Atlanta, Georgia, who writes young adult and middle grade fiction about identity, belonging, and family. Their 2018 novel Anger Is a Gift won the 2019 Schneider Family Book Award, and they co-wrote The Nico di Angelo Adventures with Rick Riordan. They also wrote the fantasy novel Each of Us a Desert. Earlier, they were nominated for a Hugo Award in 2013 and 2014 for their online Mark Does Stuff work, where they analyze books and television series.
