Marti Dumas's Wildseed Witch series is urban fantasy with a coming-of-age streak, starting with Wildseed Witch and continuing in Charmed Life. Charmed Life follows a young girl whose ordinary days change when she finds magic, and who has to sort out her friendships, what her family expects of her, and what to do with her new abilities. Courage and kindness run through the story.
