Meg Shaffer's novels are fantasy fiction. The Book Witch follows Rainy March, whose job is to protect stories and keep their characters from wandering out of the books, and who is sent into one of the Duke of Chicago's mysteries. A cat named Koshka keeps Rainy company along the way. The Wishing Game is also a fantasy novel.
