Michael Crummey is a Canadian poet and writer of historical fiction, and much of his work draws on the history and landscape of Newfoundland and Labrador. His novels include Galore, a historical novel set in a rural Newfoundland community, along with Sweetland and the contemporary Innocents. He won the 2025 Dublin Literary Award.
