Michael Wolff is an American journalist and media consultant who also writes columns for USA Today and The Hollywood Reporter. He is best known for Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, published in 2018, which opened a run of books on Donald Trump's time in power that includes Siege and Landslide. Earlier, he wrote Burn Rate, about his own dot-com company, and The Man Who Owns the News, a biography of Rupert Murdoch. Wolff co-founded the news aggregation site Newser, was once editor of Adweek, and has received two National Magazine Awards and a Mirror Award.
