Mike Berners-Lee is an English researcher and writer on carbon footprinting and a professor in Practice at Lancaster University, where he also directs the consultancy Small World Consulting. He is best known for How Bad Are Bananas?, which looks at the carbon footprint of everyday food and products, and for There Is No Planet B and The Burning Question. Berners-Lee also wrote A Climate of Truth and contributed to The Climate Book, created by Greta Thunberg.
