Mohammed El-Kurd is a Palestinian writer, poet, and journalist known for writing about Palestinian life under occupation in East Jerusalem and the rest of the West Bank. The nonfiction book Perfect Victims and the Politics of Appeal examines how suffering is framed in political debate, particularly around Palestinian resistance.
