Nicholas Eames is a pen name, and the books published under it are fantasy. Eames's debut, Kings of the Wyld from 2017, follows a retired mercenary band that takes up arms again to rescue the daughter of one of its members. It is the first of three books in The Band trilogy, which continues with Bloody Rose and Outlaw Empire.
