Okey Ndibe is a novelist, political columnist and essayist of Igbo ethnicity, born in 1960 in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State in north-eastern Nigeria. He wrote Arrows of Rain, published in 2000, and Foreign Gods Inc, published in 2014. The second follows Ike Uzondu, a Nigerian immigrant working as a New York taxi driver, who gets caught up in a scheme to steal a war deity's statue from his home village.
