Olivia Goldsmith

Olivia Goldsmith was an American author best known for The First Wives Club (1992), her first novel, which became the 1996 film of the same name. Flavor of the Month, another of her books, follows an actress who undergoes a string of operations to reinvent herself. Goldsmith died in 2004, leaving behind contemporary fiction shaped by satire.
