Paige Harbison's novels sit in contemporary fiction with a romantic streak. Destination Funeral gathers four estranged friends on a coastal Georgia island after the death of the woman who anchored their teenage summers, mixing humor with grief. The Other Side of Now is a romance that brings magical realism into its contemporary fiction setting.
