Phil Jackson

Phil Jackson is an American former basketball player, coach, and executive whose career centers on the NBA. He wrote Sacred Hoops, in which he describes applying Native American spiritual practices to his approach to the game, and Eleven Rings, a book about the eleven championship seasons he coached. His coaching, shaped by Tex Winter's triangle offense and Eastern philosophy, earned him the nickname "Zen Master".
