Rabih Alameddine

Rabih Alameddine is a Lebanese painter and writer, born in 1959, who divides his time between San Francisco and Beirut. His fiction includes An Unnecessary Woman, The Hakawati, I, the Divine, and Koolaids, along with the story collection The Perv. His novel The Wrong End of the Telescope won the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction in 2022, and The True True Story of Raja the Gullible (and His Mother) won the National Book Award for Fiction in 2025.
