Rebecca Donovan

Rebecca Donovan is an American novelist whose books speak to readers in their twenties, a category publishers call new adult. She began as a self-published author after working as an events planner, and her Breathing series, which opens with Reason to Breathe and continues through Barely Breathing and Out of Breath, is the center of her work. Penguin acquired the U.K. rights to the series in 2012, and in 2013 Donovan signed with Amazon's Skyscape Publishing imprint. The books mix romance with coming-of-age and thriller elements.
