Robert Kolker is an American journalist who writes for The New York Times Magazine and previously worked at New York Magazine and Bloomberg News. He is best known for Lost Girls, a true crime book that became a New York Times best seller and was named one of Publishers Weekly's Top Ten Books of 2013. His 2020 book Hidden Valley Road, about a family in which six sons developed schizophrenia, was chosen for the revival of Oprah's Book Club.
