Robin Cook

Robin Cook is an American physician and novelist who writes largely about medicine and public health. He is best known for pairing medical writing with the thriller genre, and his titles include Coma, Outbreak, and Terminal, along with Chromosome 6, the fifth book in a series following detectives Jack Stapleton and Laurie Montgomery. Born in 1940, Cook has seen many of his books appear on the New York Times Best Seller List, and his books have sold nearly 400 million copies worldwide.
