Rukhsana Khan

Rukhsana Khan is a Canadian children's writer and storyteller, born in 1962, whose stories have helped children of all cultures connect with cultures of Eastern origin. Her books include Big Red Lollipop, in which a girl's party day is upended when her little sister tags along, and King for a Day. Khan's stories follow everyday family life, with Big Red Lollipop turning on the pull between a child's own wants and a younger sibling's needs.
