Ruud Van der Rol's books are nonfiction works of history and biography centered on Anne Frank. Anne Frank, Beyond the Diary: A Photographic Remembrance, written with Rian Verhoeven, tells her story through photographs. 11th Hour is a memoir-style volume that likewise pairs images, many of them unpublished, with her words to follow her life against the backdrop of war.
