Sandy Mitchell

Sandy Mitchell is the pen name of British writer Alex Stewart, who has written full-time since the mid-1980s. Under that name he is best known for the Ciaphas Cain series, which includes For the Emperor, Caves of Ice, The Traitor's Hand, Duty Calls, Death or Glory and Cain's Last Stand. Most of his work as Sandy Mitchell is tie-in fiction for Games Workshop's Warhammer fantasy and Warhammer 40,000 science fiction lines.
