Sara Baume

Sara Baume is an Irish novelist, born in 1984, and was named to Granta's Best of Young British Novelists list in 2023. Baume writes literary fiction with a coming-of-age streak, beginning with A Line Made by Walking, in which a young artist withdraws to an empty rural cottage to work through her own troubles. Seven Steeples and Spill Simmer Falter Wither come after it, both in the same literary vein.
