Sarah Moss is an English writer and academic. Her novel Ghost Wall follows a young woman whose family joins an experimental archaeology course that has them living as Iron Age Britons in northern England, and her travel memoir Names for the Sea: Strangers in Iceland is set in Iceland. Her ninth novel, Ripeness, appeared in 2025, and Moss has been nominated three times for the Wellcome Book Prize. She is an assistant professor of Creative Writing at University College Dublin.
