Seishi Yokomizo

Seishi Yokomizo (1902–1981) was a Japanese mystery novelist, best known for creating the detective Kosuke Kindaichi. Kindaichi investigates in novels such as The Honjin Murders and The Inugami Clan. In Death on Gokumon Island, Kindaichi travels to a remote island where a family death becomes the first of several murders.
