Steven Erikson

Steve Rune Lundin, who writes under the pen name Steven Erikson, is a Canadian novelist trained as both an archaeologist and anthropologist. He is best known for the ten-volume epic fantasy series Malazan Book of the Fallen, which began with Gardens of the Moon in 1999 and closed with The Crippled God in 2011. Set in the same world, his Kharkanas Trilogy serves as a prequel, and he has also written the comedic Willful Child Trilogy, a spoof of Star Trek.
