Susan Meissner is an American author and columnist, and a former editor of a weekly newspaper, born in 1961 and raised in San Diego. Meissner writes historical and literary fiction, including A Fall of Marigolds and Secrets of a Charmed Life, the second a coming-of-age story with a wartime setting. Meissner has won several awards for the novels, has been a Christy Award nominee and a RITA Award finalist, and has written both general market and Christian literature.
