Sylvain Reynard

Sylvain Reynard is a pen name used by an anonymous Canadian author, and it is the name on the Gabriel's Inferno series. The first book follows Professor Gabriel Emerson, a Dante scholar who leads a double life, and his tangled bond with graduate student Julia Mitchell. Reynard's sequels, Gabriel's Rapture and Gabriel's Redemption, continue that story of redemption and forgiveness, and the first novel appeared on The New York Times Best Seller list.
