Tayari Jones

Tayari Jones is an American author and academic best known for An American Marriage, which was a 2018 Oprah's Book Club Selection and won the 2019 Women's Prize for Fiction. Other books include Silver Sparrow, Leaving Atlanta, The Untelling, and Kin. Jones is a member of the English faculty at Emory University as Charles Howard Candler Professor of Creative Writing, after earlier serving at Cornell University as Andrew Dickson White Professor-at-large.
