Long After We Are Gone follows four Black siblings who return to their family's ancestral land in Mississippi and find the home they inherited under threat, with family, racial injustice, and belonging at the center. One Summer in Savannah and Where the Wildflowers Grow are further coming-of-age novels, the first literary fiction and the second contemporary.
