Thomas Malory

Thomas Malory is the English writer behind Le Morte d'Arthur, the classic English-language chronicle of the Arthurian legend, which he compiled and in most cases translated from French sources. William Caxton printed it in 1485. Little of Malory's life is documented, and scholars still debate which man of that name he was.
