Timothy Keller (1950–2023) was an American Presbyterian pastor, Reformed theologian, and Christian apologist whose books include The Prodigal God, Prayer, and The Reason for God. He was the founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City and co-founded Redeemer City to City, which trains pastors for service around the world. His 2016 book Making Sense of God serves as a prequel to The Reason for God.
