Todd Parr

Todd Parr is an American author, illustrator, animator and television producer, best known for colorful children's books about kindness, inclusivity and acceptance, such as It's Okay to Be Different and The Family Book. Parr grew up in Rock Springs, Wyoming, moved to San Francisco in 1995 to work as an artist, and once worked as a flight attendant before becoming a full-time author. His television show ToddWorld premiered on TLC and Discovery Kids in November 2004 and received a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Children's Animated Program.
