Tyler Cowen is an American economist, author, and public intellectual who holds the Holbert L. Harris Professor of Economics chair at George Mason University, where he also chairs the Mercatus Center. He is best known for the blog Marginal Revolution, which he has co-written with Alex Tabarrok since 2003, and for the interview podcast Conversations with Tyler. His books include The Complacent Class, on a sense of stasis he sees across American society, and The Great Stagnation, an economics book.
