William D. Cohan is an American business writer whose books examine Wall Street and the money behind it. His titles include Money to Burn, which follows the investment firm Apollo Global Management and the dealmaker Leon Black from the wreckage of the junk-bond era onward, and Why Wall Street Matters, a work of economics and journalism. Cohan was born in 1960.
