Wioletta Greg is a pen name of Wioletta Grzegorzewska, a Polish poet and writer whose books under the Greg name include the novel Accommodations and the novella Swallowing Mercury. Accommodations follows a young woman who leaves her village for Czestochowa and lives between a hostel and a convent, watching the Catholic routines and local secrets around her. Swallowing Mercury is a short autobiographical work that one reviewer compared to Evie Wyld, Ludmila Petrushevskaya and Herta Muller. Grzegorzewska was nominated for The Man Booker Prize.
