Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor

Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor is a Kenyan writer of novels, short stories and essays, and the author of the novels Dust and The Dragonfly Sea. She won the 2003 Caine Prize for African Writing for her story "Weight of Whispers" and co-founded the Macondo Literary Festival, a non-profit that organizes literary festivals promoting African and global writing. Her books, published under her full name, range across literary, coming-of-age and adventure fiction.
