Description
When a spirited young woman’s carefully laid plans collide with the sharp-eyed scrutiny of London society, she finds herself drawn into a web of expectations, misunderstandings, and unexpected alliances. As romance simmers beneath the surface of drawing rooms and dinner tables, she must navigate the delicate balance between reputation and desire—especially when the person she least expects becomes central to her future. With wit, warmth, and a keen sense of social maneuvering, this story explores the power of first impressions, the courage it takes to defy convention, and the ways love can arrive when you’re certain it won’t. Perfect for readers who enjoy Regency-era charm and character-driven courtship, it delivers a satisfying blend of humor, heart, and high-stakes matchmaking.

dnf. honestly what the hell was that.

either this book is badly written or badly translated, I think both.

absolutely nothing happened for 120 pages. I don't understand on what grounds the main characters are supposed to dislike each other. their conversations resembled the banter of teenagers rather than adults and there was nothing charming about it.

I had no expectations and I am still disappointed.
