Description
A sudden, blinding meteor shower leaves most of humanity sightless, plunging civilization into chaos. Amidst the ensuing pandemonium, a man named Bill Masen awakens to find himself miraculously unharmed, but soon discovers a far greater threat than blindness: the Triffids, mobile, venomous plants that have begun to hunt the helpless populace. Teaming up with other survivors, Masen must navigate a world where humanity's dominance is challenged by nature's most terrifying creations. John Wyndham's chilling classic masterfully blends suspense and ecological horror, exploring themes of survival, societal collapse, and humanity's precarious place in the natural order.
