Description
A darkly comic psychological thriller follows a disillusioned man who becomes convinced he has discovered his exact double and sees the resemblance as an opportunity for an ingenious crime. As his elaborate scheme takes shape, his certainty, vanity, and hunger for control begin to distort his perception of reality. Exploring identity, self-deception, morality, and the dangerous allure of aesthetic perfection, the novel is marked by razor-sharp irony and an intensely unreliable narrative voice.
