Description

In the sweltering summer of 1348, as the Black Death ravages the land, an ambitious nobleman and his retinue exploit the societal collapse to amass property and wealth across the Irish countryside. Their opportunistic journey leads them to Nobber, a desolate village inhabited by a peculiar few: a pompous official, his tempestuous wife, a nude blacksmith, and a captive Gaelic woman. As a band of marauding Gaels also descends, seeking to reclaim ancestral lands amidst the chaos, the isolated villagers, long confined by curfew, emerge to confront the newcomers. This convergence ignites a tense confrontation, a deadly standoff where survival is far from guaranteed.
