Description
When six college students discover an old Ouija board at their professor’s end-of-term party, they make contact with a spirit calling itself Butler—an entity that promises them a fortune hidden in the mountains. Lured by the possibility of treasure, the group sets out for the treacherous Calamity Peak, carrying the board and following increasingly disturbing instructions from beyond the grave. Their professor, haunted by the board’s connection to her husband’s death, pursues them into the wilderness, where buried secrets, dangerous desires, and a mysterious armed figure await. Blending supernatural horror, suspense, sexual tension, and graphic violence, the novel delivers a dark and unpredictable descent into terror.
