Description

Forensic archaeologist Dr. Ruth Galloway finds her solitary life disrupted when the bones of a child are discovered on a desolate Norfolk beach. Called in by Detective Chief Inspector Nelson, she becomes entangled in a chilling investigation into the disappearance of a young girl a decade prior. As the abductor's taunting letters, filled with cryptic references, continue to arrive, a second child goes missing, raising the terrifying possibility of a copycat or a killer with ancient ties to the land. Ruth must use her unique expertise to uncover the truth hidden within the earth and the shadows of the past before another life is lost.
