Description

In the aftermath of a brutal interstellar war, a scavenger crew makes its living by salvaging what others leave behind—until their latest find drags them into a dangerous web of secrets, survival, and shifting loyalties. When a mysterious, high-stakes mission collides with the harsh realities of life in space, the characters must navigate betrayal, moral compromise, and the thin line between duty and freedom. Blending fast-paced action with sharp character work, the story explores themes of found family, resilience under pressure, and what it means to choose humanity in a world built for exploitation. With Ann Aguirre’s energetic, accessible style and a knack for high-tension momentum, this is a gripping science-fiction adventure that keeps escalating from the first salvage run to the final, hard-won reckoning.
