Description
Part memoir, part family history, this powerful work follows a Swedish-born artist as he traces his ancestry across continents and generations. Through archival discoveries, personal journeys, and reflections on his parents’ interracial relationship, he explores Black identity, race, belonging, and the complicated legacy of history. Moving between Sweden and the United States, the narrative offers an intimate examination of what it means to inherit—and redefine—a sense of home. Lyrical, searching, and deeply personal, it connects one family’s story to larger questions of memory, migration, and identity.
