Description
This novel plunges into the disorienting world of a woman who awakens with no memory of her past, thrust into a present she doesn't recognize. As she navigates a strange hotel and encounters enigmatic figures, she must piece together fragments of her identity, blurring the lines between reality and delusion. Eva Figes crafts a darkly comedic and mysterious narrative that explores themes of memory, selfhood, and the unsettling nature of a life unremembered.
