Description
Mrs. Olinski's sixth-grade Academic Bowl team is a surprise to everyone, not only for their unexpected victories but for the mysterious way they were assembled. As the team progresses through increasingly challenging contests, the question of how these disparate students were chosen becomes paramount. Through a series of interconnected narratives, the story reveals the unique circumstances and personal qualities that bind Noah, Nadia, Ethan, and Julian together, demonstrating that their success stems from a deeper understanding of each other and themselves. This novel explores themes of friendship, resilience, and the unexpected ways individuals find their place and purpose, all while celebrating the power of a well-chosen team.
