Description
This poignant graphic novel follows two young friends, Rose and Windy, as they navigate the complexities of a summer that feels irrevocably different. While their usual seaside escape is overshadowed by adult tensions and unspoken secrets, the girls find themselves drawn into the lives of the local teenagers, confronting themes of loss, burgeoning sexuality, and the painful transition from childhood to adolescence. Through their shared experiences and unwavering bond, Rose and Windy discover resilience and the profound impact of friendship amidst the bittersweet revelations of growing up. The Tamaki cousins deliver a beautifully rendered, emotionally resonant story that captures the raw honesty of a summer that changes everything.
